Darkroom Notes
By Arthur Brainville (Ybalrid)
- 2 minutes read - 237 wordsI have not been very active writing on this website. But I have decided to start writing a bit more about random hobbies of mine.
In the last year or so, I started playing with old cameras, and with somewhat toxic chemicals … 😅
I do black and white and color development. I have a lot to learn about wet printing and enlargement techniques still.
I do not really plan to publish pictures I take, unless they are useful to illustrate something.
I took some notes about a few random things and things that I have learned. I decided to publish some of them under the darkroom section of this website.
There are currently not much. And they may be only useful for me. These are markdown files that I have copied directly from a subfolder of my Obsidian vault.
I may find a better way to organize this, and I will complete those with time I think.
If you are curious about what’s going on with the featured image of this post and section, it is a picture taken in the dark with a very small flash (Godox Lux Cadet), with a Lomography Rocket Sprocket camera, on Lomography Color Negative 800. This is why sprocket holes are apparent on that picture. I “scanned” those using a rig with a DSLR and a 3D printed holder. The gritty grainy look is very much intended. ðŸ¤
That’s all!
